Why Paragon Radio Gallifrey? Simple, Paragon for the lost city of Paragon City, the fictional city that came into being with the launch of the Super Hero MMO City of Heroes which was killed off by it's publisher, NCSoft, in 2012. Gallifrey, for the lost world of the Time Lords from Doctor Who.
I don't think either decision was a good one. City of Heroes still had a strong player base, and could have easily gone into maintenance mode.
With the relaunched Doctor Who series, eliminating the Doctor's race and home planet was rather pointless, in my opinion. The Daleks were also eliminated at the same time, or so we're told, but yet they have found their way back into the series.
Isn't it about time to bring the Time Lords back as well?
Well, so, with the 50th Anniversary Doctor Who we have been given hope that Gallifrey falls no more. Wonderful story that. Dare I wish for the same for City of Heroes?
